Stepping onto the Path of the
Mysteries: How to begin

Saturday, March 13th
from 1:00-3:00 PM

Cost: $20.00 per person

Many times people find it
difficult to find local
Pagan/Heathen community.
Once found they then are often
shy to attend open moons or
other gatherings for the first
time. Being new to a spiritual
path can be a very
overwhelming and confusing
experience. The topics in this
session are designed to
encourage those who are new to
Paganism/Heathenism to take
that first step. To give those who
are seeking community enough
information so that they can
feel comfortable and secure at
open gatherings.

Topics include: etiquette and
manners, what it means to be
an “earth based religion”, a brief
overview of some of the many
Pagan/Heathen traditions,
Pagan Ethics, Elders and
teachers, open gatherings,
moons and events. We will also
discuss how to ready oneself to
make a bigger commitment of
moving into a Coven, Kindred
or another dedicated spiritual
group as well as what such a
step means.

Wicca 101
Saturday, April 10th

from 1:00-3:00 PM
Cost: $20.00 per person

While Wicca is not the only
Pagan/Heathen tradition, it is
often the first experience many
people have with modern
Paganism. There are many mis-
conceptions surrounding the
Wiccan Tradition. This course
will focus on the basic beliefs
and ethics of Wicca.

Very basic Wicca:  this course
will introduce students to some
of the religious language that
helps to define Wicca as a
religion. The course will also
include a brief history of Wicca
(Gardnerian, Alexandrian), the
Wiccan Rede, the differences
between British Traditional,
American Traditional and
Progressive Wicca. Wiccan
expressions of the Divine, the
concept of polarity as well as
Esbats and Sabbats and the
Wiccan worldview. Each student
will begin a personal Book of
Shadows (please bring a ring
binder to start your BOS).

Wicca 202
Saturday, May 8th

from 1:00-2:00 PM
Cost: $20.00 per person

For those who are interested in
exploring the Pagan tradition of
Wicca in more depth, this class
will help to support your
exploration.

Becoming a Wiccan
Priest/Preistess
This class will cover some basic
elements a traditional Wiccan
Esbat ritual, Sabbat ritual
(both private and public) as well
as self-dedication. We will set
up and discuss a traditional
Wiccan altar and discuss some
of the difference between a
traditional Gardner
ian and
Alexandr
ian altar and circle.
We will also discuss how those
who belong to the Progressive
tradition approach the set up of
an altar and the creation of
sacred space. For the solitary

how to adapt more traditional
rituals for personal use.
